These Terms of Service govern your use of the Decktrace platform — the web application, website, embeddable viewer, and API — operated by IT Solid Solutions ("we", "us", "our"). By accessing or using the platform you agree to these terms. If you are using the platform on behalf of an organization, you represent that you have the authority to bind that organization.
Decktrace converts General Arrangement plans (PDF or image format) into structured, interactive vessel area catalogs. Each area receives a stable identifier and can be accessed through the platform interface, exported via API, or displayed using the embeddable viewer. We may update, extend, or discontinue features of the platform with reasonable notice.
You must provide accurate registration information and keep it current. You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account and for keeping your credentials secure. Notify us immediately at hello@decktrace.io if you suspect unauthorized access. We may suspend accounts where we detect suspicious activity.
Accounts are for organizations or individual professionals. You must be at least 18 years old and authorized to enter into binding agreements on behalf of yourself or your employer.
You may use Decktrace to catalog, reference, and share vessel area data for legitimate maritime operations, software integrations, inspection workflows, compliance reporting, and related professional purposes. You agree not to:
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms.
You retain full ownership of the General Arrangement files you upload and the vessel catalog data you create. By uploading content you grant IT Solid Solutions a limited, non-exclusive license to store, process, and display that content solely to deliver the service to you. We do not use your vessel plans or catalog data to train models or for any purpose beyond operating the platform on your behalf.
You are responsible for ensuring you have the right to upload and process any files you submit to the platform. GA plans provided by third parties (shipyards, classification societies, owners) should only be uploaded where your agreements with those parties permit.
Decktrace is available on paid subscription plans billed monthly or annually. Fees are stated in USD and billed in advance. Annual plans are invoiced once per year and include a discount compared to the monthly rate.
Payment is processed by Stripe. We do not store card details. Subscriptions renew automatically unless cancelled before the renewal date. If a payment fails we will notify you and provide a grace period before suspending access.
We may change pricing with 30 days' notice. If you do not agree to a price change you may cancel before the new price takes effect. Fees paid are non-refundable except where required by applicable law or stated otherwise in our billing documentation.
API access is included in applicable subscription plans. Your API key is credentials — treat it like a password. You are responsible for all API calls made with your key. Rate limits apply per plan; we may throttle or suspend API access for misuse or overuse beyond plan limits.
Subscribers may embed the Decktrace viewer within their own applications and platforms under the terms of their subscription. The viewer may only be used to display catalogs belonging to your organization's account. You may not re-host or redistribute the viewer separately from your application, or use it to display third-party catalogs without an explicit written agreement.
IT Solid Solutions retains all rights in the Decktrace platform, brand, algorithms, UI, and documentation. Nothing in these terms transfers ownership of the platform to you. Feedback or suggestions you provide may be used by us to improve the platform without obligation.
Each party agrees to keep the other's confidential information private and not to disclose it to third parties without consent. Your vessel catalog data is treated as confidential. Our pricing, unreleased features, and internal systems are treated as confidential.
The platform is provided "as is." We make reasonable efforts to maintain uptime and data integrity but do not guarantee uninterrupted access or error-free operation. Decktrace provides a visual cataloging and reference layer — it is not a substitute for authoritative shipyard drawings, classification society records, or regulatory compliance systems.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, IT Solid Solutions will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of or inability to use the platform. Our total liability for any claim arising under these terms is limited to the fees you paid in the twelve months preceding the claim.
You may cancel your subscription at any time from your account settings. Access continues until the end of the current billing period. We may terminate or suspend access immediately for material breaches of these terms. Following termination, your data remains available for export for 30 days, then is deleted in accordance with our Privacy Policy.
These terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction in which IT Solid Solutions is incorporated. Disputes will be resolved through good-faith negotiation first. If unresolved, disputes shall be referred to binding arbitration or the courts of that jurisdiction.
We may update these terms from time to time. Material changes will be notified by email at least 14 days before they take effect. Continued use of the platform after changes take effect constitutes acceptance.
